1 Scope of application
1.1
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between the General Anthroposophical Society as organizer (hereinafter “AAG”) and the event participants (hereinafter “Participants”). Events within the meaning of these GTC are all events (co-)organized by the AAG, in particular those listed in the AAG's calendar of events and those events advertised by the AAG.
The GTC shall become part of the contractual relationship between the AAG and the participant at the latest upon conclusion of the contract.
1.2
The GTC of the AAG also apply to events organized by third parties on the premises of the Goetheanum (third-party organizers). Deviating agreements between the third-party organizers and the visitors require the approval of the AAG.
2. range of events
The range of events on offer and the prices can be found in the calendar of events on the AAG website (https://goetheanum.ch), in the event flyers or in invitation letters.
3 Prices and price changes
If there are contradictory price details, the details in the event calendar shall apply. The AAG expressly reserves the right to make subsequent price changes. A right of withdrawal cannot be derived from this.
All prices include value added tax. They may consist of a portion for catering/accommodation and a portion for the actual event as well as other costs. They do not include any shipping or administration costs, which the AAG reserves the right to charge additionally.
3.1 Discounts
The regular price applies to all participants.Discounts will only be granted if this is communicated by the guest.
The entitlement to a discount also requires that a corresponding receipt is submitted together with the registration.
Three prices are usually indicated for each event. The first is the regular price, the second is the reduced price for pensioners / senior citizens, the unemployed, trainees, those doing military / civilian service, people with disabilities (IV pension) and the third is for children and young people up to the age of 16. Depending on the event, special prices may also be granted for certain groups of people (such as members or employees of the AAG).
Discounts are granted to eligible groups of people on presentation of a corresponding proof of eligibility.
Only one discounted ticket is sold per person and per entitlement card per performance. Individual reductions cannot be accumulated.
Discounts are only granted if this is explicitly stated.
The ID entitling the holder to the discount may be requested at the time of purchase or on admission.
4 Registration and conclusion of contract
Registration takes place by placing an order at https://tickets.goetheanum.ch.Other forms of registration are possible.
The information on https://www.goetheanum.ch, the event flyers and the invitation letters are not offers within the meaning of the Swiss Code of Obligations. They are merely invitations to submit an offer.A contract is only concluded when the participant's offer (registration) is expressly accepted by the AAG.For this purpose, the AAG will send a confirmation of acceptance to the e-mail address provided when the order was placed, or will provide information verbally.
The AAG reserves the right to change the seating plan and to allocate other (equivalent or better) places to participants if the booked place is no longer available as a result of the change made.
Any duplication, modification, imitation or profitable resale of physical or electronic tickets is expressly prohibited.

Any transaction fees incurred may be retained.
Cancellations must be made in person or in writing by email to tickets@goethenaum.ch by this deadline to be effective. It is possible to allow substitute participants to take the place at the event (subject to Clause 10). In this case, no additional fees will be charged.

For organizational reasons, we reserve the right to make changes to the programme, such as changes to the main topics and/or speakers, postponements, mergers and splits. Participants will be informed in good time.
If an event is postponed, the ticket is valid for the postponed date regardless of the reason for the postponement. Returns or exchanges are excluded. The same applies to changes to the topic or speakers.
In order to be able to hold our events under optimal conditions, we set a minimum and maximum number of participants for each event. Event places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received (subject to timely payment). If the number of participants is insufficient, the event will generally not be held and the event fee will be waived or refunded.

The valid admission ticket or subscription card and, on request, the corresponding authorization card for reduced-price tickets must be shown to the admission staff. The validity of tickets can be checked using electronic readers.
There is no entitlement to admission after the start of the performance. If it can be reconciled with the security arrangements and the interests of the participating artists and other attendees, late arrivals may be admitted at a time determined by the artistic director. Even in this case, however, there is no entitlement to the ticket seat purchased. The instructions of the admission staff regarding the time of admission and the space available must be followed.
9. Sound and/or image recordings
Participants are only permitted to make audio and video recordings (in particular photographs, videos etc.) of the events with the prior written consent of the AAG. They must follow the instructions of the staff.

In the event of particularly serious misconduct by participants (namely crimes and misdemeanors as well as serious violations of the house rules) and exclusion due to non-payment, the full amount is owed. The AAG reserves the right to make further claims for damages.

15. premature termination of the contract
If the AAG discontinues the corresponding event offers during the term of the contract, the AAG may withdraw from the contract without becoming liable for damages. 16. severability clause
Should a contractual provision be invalid, unenforceable or incomplete, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The parties shall replace invalid or unenforceable provisions with valid and enforceable provisions that are as close or as similar as possible to the original legal and economic objective of the parties. The same shall also apply in the event of a contractual loophole.
17 Amendments and supplements
The AAG reserves the right to make changes and additions to these GTC at any time. They shall be notified to the person attending the event in written or electronic form. In the absence of prior written objection, they shall apply upon attendance of the event in question, but no later than one month after notification. In the event of an objection, the previous GTC shall continue to apply.
18 Applicable law, place of jurisdiction
The relationship between the parties shall be governed exclusively by substantive Swiss law.
All disputes between the parties, regardless of their legal basis, shall be decided exclusively by the ordinary courts in Dornach (SO).
